Uhuru Kenyatta's Escort Car Thief Arrested

A man who is alleged to have been involved in the theft of the Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta‘s BMW limousine, has now been arrested in Nakuru town.
Mr. Aggrey Odhiambo Ochieng, who has a garage in Nakuru Town, was arrested during the weekend on Saturday by CID officers  after they identified that he fabricated the process illegaly, the President’s limousine before it disappeared last week.

A senior CID officer who is in charge of the investigation said that they had good leads that they believed that the suspect will help them uncover the mystery.

Aggrey Odhiambo appeared before a Nakuru Court and denied being involved in the theft of the vehicle and was remanded in police custody as he is believed to be also behind a spate of other serious crimes including the theft of the presidentaial escort vehicle.

Mr Aggrey Odhiambo also faced a second charge of being in the possession of a home-made gun without a fire-arm certificate and a licence.

The Prosecutor asked Senior Principal Magistrate John Mwaniki to order that Mr Odhiambo be kept at the Nakuru Central Police Station as the police conclude investigations.

The armoured Presidential limousine was stolen last Wednesday while its official driver, Mr David Machui, was driving to home in Ruai.
