Police in Tigania East, Meru County are hunting down an assistant Chief is being accused of raping his mentally handicapped daughter before going into hiding. The Assistant Chief is said to have sexually assaulted his 18-year-old daughter at his home. Tigania East OCPD Charles Kosgey said security officers have began a manhunt for the suspect who is still at large. "The suspect is said to have defiled the daughter several times and was rescued by relatives who heard commotion in their house.
The lady was treated at Muthara Level Four Hospital and discharged," Mr Kosgey said. According to the wife of the accused, the administrator allegedly undressed his daughter and threatened to kill her if she raised an alarm before committing the beastly act.
