Former Vice President, Kalonzo Musyoka, has sensationally claimed that Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) will swear former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga as President of Kenya, if the Jubilee Government continues bribing Members of County Assemblies (MCAs).Speaking at a funds-drive in aid of a church in Machakos town, Kalonzo revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, are running around the country bribing MCAs to oppose the referendum.
“We have credible reports indicating that Uhuru and Ruto are going around the country with briefcases full of cash to bribe MCAs to oppose the referendum,” Kalonzo said adding that the referendum is unstoppable because it is people driven.
He said CORD will not allow Uhuru and Ruto to kill the dream of Kenyans of having a referendum to address pertinent issues facing them.
“If they continue that way then will swear in Raila Odinga as President of Kenya and then Uhuru and Ruto will become opposition leaders,” Kalonzo said furiously.
The former VP also warned Uhuru and Ruto against making any visits to Ukambani saying Kamba people do not need anything from the Jubilee Government.
