Out-spoken
Cotu Secretary General, Francis Atwoli, claims that facebook and twitter
parodists are giving him sleepless nights because they are using his name to
con innocent Kenyans.
“Some people on
facebook and twitter are using my name to gain money wrongfully. I have spoken
to the police about this and I really hope they will be arrested soon.”Atwoli said in an
interview."
This
comes barely two months after a man was arrested for impersonating Mike Sonko. He
had conned Kenyans million of shillings while pretending that he was running a
non-profit organization to help the poor.
The
case is still under investigation and Atwoli also hopes that his impersonators
will be brought to book.
