TNA chairman Sakaja Johnson has opposed the proposed regulation that PSV drivers must be above 30 years old. Speaking at manzoni lodge in a meeting with Youth County Executives and the Ministry of
Devolution, Sakaja who is also the chairman of the Young parliamentarians association, decried the proposed regulation stating that it is discriminatory and will only serve to disenfranchise thousands of youth that are employed in the transport sector.
"While the president is working day and night to create pportunities for young people, some people are clearly reading from their own script" He called on the NTSA to instead come up with programs that will ensure regular training and certification of PSV drivers.
