President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday vowed never to be
intimidated by anyone, including former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga’s rascals
in Luo Nyanza.
Speaking at a chaotic function in
Migori County where Raila Odinga’s goons booed, heckled and pelted objects at
him, Uhuru said he will not be cowed and vowed to come back.
“This noise you are making will amount
to nothing I am the President of Kenya and I rule everyone and will visit any
part of the country even here in Nyanza. In fact, I want to tell you that I am
going to come back here and I will keep coming,” said Uhuru.
Uhuru was in Migori to launch the sh7
billion distribution campaign of mosquito nets to 25 Counties most affected my
Malaria.
However, trouble started when Migori
Governor Okoth Obado stood to address the crowd who refused to be addressed by
him and begun to chant Raila Odinga’s name
Not even the President managed to
pacify things as the situation only got worse when some goons hurled stones and
shoes towards the President forcing the security apparatus to take charge
before normalcy was restored.
