then I found out you had feigned your love for me
The fact that it seems to be a sympathy and not love
alleviates the agony in my soul.
All I wanted was for you to love me;
All I expected was for you to be a different breed from all I've ever dated
But you faked the love;
And couldn't give me a world like the beautiful one I gave it to you.
