The recent killings in Mandera where 28 innocent Kenyans lost their lives has continued to illicit different views.

Many Kenyans have continued to express their displeasure and have relentlessly demanded for immediate resignation of top security chiefs over the current insecurity which has claimed hundreds of lives.

Earlier this week, activists, members of the public and politicians, converged at Harambee Avenue to air their grievances and concerns to the Head of state, who unfortunately was in Abu Dhabi for an official state visit.
Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has also been very vocal about the issue, a very harsh critic of the Jubilee Government, he recently came out strongly and criticized Deputy President William Ruto on claims that KDF managed to kill 100 Al Shaabab militants near the Kenya-Somali border. The Question he posed was, where is the evidence if indeed the Kenyan soldiers managed to kill the outlawed militias.

The Head of state was also not spared by the senator following his controversial address at the Nairobi University during the launch of Activism against Gender Violence Campaign.
