10 TYPES OF STUDENTS YOU'LL FIND IN A TYPICAL KENYAN UNIVERSITY CLASS.

1. THE GOOD LISTENERS: These are the ones that listen to the lecturers and note down all the key-points.

2. THE ON-LOOKERS: These ones cannot  really be classified as good-listeners.. because they just stare at the lecturer as if he just arrived from Mars.

3.THE PHOTOCOPYING TEAM: Oh my!These people know themselves...you will always har them saying can I please photocopy your notes. These are the mates that miss lectures most of the time with lame excuses that they cant go to class with empty stomach.

4. THE SLEEPING CONGLOMERATES: This kind of group sleep without fear or favor, they are the guys who arrive an hour before a lecture just to sit in a good spot where there is plenty of breeze...30 minutes into the lecture they are snoring like tractors.

5. THE PERPETUAL LATECOMER: This are the people who enjoy and derive pleasure coming to class after the lecture has begun. They are just like sneaking into the class room and i begin to wonder why they are sneaking in..

6. THE LAUGHING STOCK: This are the people who talk a lot when the lecturer is teaching... they ask the lecturer stupid questions and laugh the loudest when the lecturer pronounces a word differently.

7. THE PEN BORROWERS: These are non-learning students. They come to class early to book a front seat then at the middle of the lecture start borrowing a black, blue or green pen. The usually carry a ruler and pencil but never have a pen...smh!

8. THE GHOST STUDENTS: These are the kind of students you should avoid. They never come to class, not even once but their names are always in the attendance list. During C.A.Ts and end of semester exams they are always present.

9. THE FASHIONISTS: They be having the latest dress, latest shoe and they be praying everyone look at her earrings....I wonder if they paid school fees to model in a lecture room.

10. THE WANNABEES: These are those students who want to be like others, they seek attention more than they seek the first class. They are always trying to pull others down and flirting with almost everyone in the university.
