mbadiBarely hours after the death of  Homabay Senator Otieno Kajwang, some CORD mps Aduma Auwor (Nyakach), John Mbadi (Suba) and Jared Opiyo (Ugunja) have poked holes on the death of  the 55 year old Senator.Speaking at parliament buildings on Wednesday, the Mps said that the death is mysterious and events before his death;  such as a suspicious road accident in Homabay last Friday where the Senator was driving on a hired vehicle are questionable. They ask the government to institute investigations to unerth the cause of Kajwanga’s death.

Mbadi said, “We know what has been surrounding Kajwang both in and out of the region, and let this not be another death swept under the carpet. We have so many politicians loosing their lives under mysterious circumstances, and we will not let this one go down the same way, let it not just be said to be a cardiac arrest”.

“As CORD, are going to hire independent pathologists to ensure we answer these questions. let no one lie, we all live in this country and we know the politics that has been with Kajwang” added the Suba Mp.
Opiyo who was with Kajwang at 8Pm on Tuesday night before he was pronounced dead at 11pm the same night at Mater hospital, noted that the government owe Kenyans an explanation on the mysterious death of Kajwang.

“Kajwang is not just any other kenyan and it is suspicious that there was no government presence when Kajwang body was taken to lee funeral home. on this one we will not relent” noted Opiyo.
