News just in indicates that Bomet Governor, Isaac Ruto’s daughter has died at a Nairobi Hospital.Emily Ruto (in the photo), who was a cricket player died on Friday afternoon after a long battle with blood cancer (leukemia).
Emily is a talented cricket player and one of the best players in her school.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) was the first party to send condolences to the Bomet Governor, who is also the Chairman of the Council of Governors.
Ruto is very popular to Kenyans for his Pesa Mashinani initiative which is set to increase money to the counties.
He is also a close ally of former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, who is also pushing for a parallel referendum drive dubbed Okoa Kenya initiative.
