Some TNA members, most of whom were women, stormed the offices moments before Nakuru County TNA chairman, Simon Githaiga, and his officials were brought to address the media.
The women, who were led by Susan Wanjiku, accused the officials of mishandling the TNA party, threatening to hold a fresh election to elect new leaders.
“You are the main reason why this party is failing to deliver all the promises to the people and we demand to hold fresh elections,” she said.
It took the intervention of other party officials who physically ejected the women from the board room but that did not stop them from hauling insults at the chairman.
The press conference later continued with the county party chairman saying the women had been paid to disrupt their meeting.
“These are just women who have been given money to come and disrupt our meeting that’s all,” he said.
Githaiga defended his team saying that they were officially elected last year and they will not be stepping down but will serve for the next five years.
He said that there is one are MP whom he did not mention his name that he is behind the woos that the TNA party is facing in the county.
He said that the MP who was elected on a TNA ticket wants to impose his own officials so that he can win the coming general elections in 2017.
“There is one MP who has been meeting these members and funding them to come and disrupt the business of this party,” he said, adding that TNA party in Nakuru County will not be shaken by few leaders who are driven by greed.
