Nicki Minaj will make her first solo VMA performance Aug. 24 on the 2014 edition of the MTV Video Music Awards.
Minaj will perform her single "Anaconda," which was released Aug. 4 and is expected to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. The song will appear on her next album, The Pink Print, which Minaj has said will be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
Minaj performed "Girl on Fire" on the 2012 broadcast with Alicia Keys and on the 2010 VMA pre-show. She received a VMA Moonman in in 2012 for Best Female Video with "Starships" and 2011 for Best Hip-Hop Video for "Super Bass."
