BANK of Africa Tanzania has donated text books to a Dar es Salaam
based Mivumoni Islamic Seminary whose building was recently gutted by
fire.Presenting the books yesterday, the bank's Head of Operations, Mr Mgina Mfaume said the bank had decided to support the school which is in trouble following the recent fire accident.
"As a bank, we have been touched by this calamity and decided to contribute toward your recovery," he said. He said the bank was committed to complement government's efforts to support the education sector which is crucial for development of the country.
The Head Master of the Seminary, Mr Dadi Hemed said the books will greatly help students especially this time when there is a serious challenge after the fire accident.
"We want to sincerely thank the bank and other stakeholders for their assistance," he noted. He called upon the bank to continue assist the school in other area
